College Football Rankings 2023: Projected playoff Top 25 for Week 11
For a team that was angry about being dropped to No. 2 in the ever-important College Football Playoff rankings, Georgia didn’t exactly come out firing against Missouri early on. They needed to make a statement on Saturday afternoon and it took them about three quarters to do so. Sure, the Bulldogs are back-to-back national champs, but this is a different team.
Georgia went into halftime of a home game against Missouri tied at 10.
A lot like Ohio State, the Bulldogs seem to be allergic to quick starts and that could cost them down the line, but they finally took the lead in the third quarter after falling behind 13-10. Things were tight throughout the remainder of the game much like last year’s game at Missouri.
A late field goal by the freshman kicker was enough to secure this ranked win but is it enough to rise up to No. 1? I think so.
