One of a number of teams that narrowly avoided an upset on Saturday, Ole Miss was up two touchdowns in the second half before Texas A&M closed the gap and even took a late lead.

Down 35-31 late in the fourth quarter, Ole Miss marched down the field and scored quickly to take a 38-35 lead and that’s where things ended.

Lane Kiffin’s team will stay in the top 10 despite nearly falling victim to a home upset against an unranked team. The SEC is just that tough. No win in the SEC is ever easy, especially this year.

Jaxson Dart was the saving grace for the Rebels, keeping their playoff hopes alive with 387 yards and two touchdowns.
