2. Ollie Gordon will have another record-setting day

Ollie Gordon already has three Doak Walker National Player of the Week awards in a row. He was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for a third time as well. And he is now cemented in a ring of honor with the likes of Barry Sanders for the only Oklahoma State player to record 250 rushing yards in back to back games.

In the FBS, he is currently first in total rushing yards, first in rushing yards per game, first in carries over20-70 yards, first in 200 yard rushing games, first in 250 yard rushing games, first in yards per carry, all purpose yards, rushing touchdowns, and total touchdowns.

That’s a lot of firsts for a player who truly started to shine only five games ago.

It’s not only the stats that make Gordon great, but he has refueled the entire offense. The team has looked like something brand new since he has started his historic run. If Oklahoma State can run their offense with a competent quarterback, and superstar Ollie Gordon, they can give Oklahoma quite the final Bedlam football game.
