College Football Rankings 2023: Projected playoff Top 25 for Week 12

Texas faced a bit of a trap game in Week 11 with a matchup at TCU and it took care of business. The Longhorns pretty much secured the win in the first half with a 26-6 lead at halftime.

The second half was relatively quiet for the Longhorns as TCU pulled one touchdown closer in the fourth quarter but the final result was never in doubt.

We’re probably going to see TCU drop a spot this week because I thought Alabama had one of the most impressive wins and a victory over TCU isn’t going to impress the playoff committee that much.

The Longhorns are in the driver’s seat in the Big 12 at 9-1 and they should be able to win out and earn a trip to the conference championship.

This is a heck of a finish to their Big 12 tenure.
