2. Kalen King scores on a pick-six

As highly touted of an NFL prospect as Penn State has on their defensive line in Chop Robinson, they have quite the Sunday talent in their secondary as well. Kalen King is one of the top cornerback prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft and will get a matchup against a mildly talented Michigan wide receiver group.

King struggled in the Ohio State game a few weeks back, specifically in one-on-one coverage with Marvin Harrison Jr., but fortunately Roman Wilson for the Wolverines isn’t as difficult of an assignment. The junior has yet to record an interception this season, so why not strike the first in the biggest game of the year?

J.J. McCarthy has shown that he can be a loose cannon when he faces some pressure and with that Nittany Lion front coming after him, he seems destined to let one slip.

The Penn State offense isn’t going to go out and win this team the game. They don’t have the firepower and Michigan is just too loaded at all three levels. A defensive touchdown can be the difference in winning and losing tomorrow, and I think King makes that game changing play.
