Arkansas football: Worst head coach hires in program history

Now, this is a serious throwback, but deserves mention on the list. In the early years of Arkansas football there were some strange one-off seasons with a coach who only won two or three games like George Cole in 1942 and John Tomlin in 1943, but Douglas makes the list because he got three seasons, from 1950-52.

Douglas started his tenure by going 2-8, but returned in 1951 and turned it around for a 5-5 campaign. Then, in 1952, his final year, the Razorbacks fell back to 2-8 for a combined record of 9-21 over three seasons.
