College Football Rankings 2023: Projected playoff Top 25 for Week 13
Man, Florida State suffered quite the blow on Saturday night. Star quarterback and Heisman contender Jordan Travis went down with what looked to be one of the most horrific injuries of the season and was carted off the field.
What was supposed to be an easy win before facing Florida to end the season ended up being a nightmare scenario.
Tate Rodemaker came in to replace him at quarterback and fans should get used to him leading the way because he’s the team’s only hope to lead the Seminoles to the playoff and to a potential national title game.
Florida State had to scratch and claw back into the game against North Alabama, falling behind 13-3 after the Travis injury, but the defense stepped up and so did the offense en route to a 58-13 win.
We’ll see if the committee drops Florida State a spot for everything that happened on Saturday night. I think they’ll fall one spot because Washington had the win of the week.
