Winner: Washington

One team that did notch a significant win in College Football Week 12 was Washington. The Huskies didn’t do anything flashy, but they won 22-20 as a road underdog.

Now, the Huskies just need to get through Washington State and they’ll be another win over Oregon away from playing in the College Football Playoff.

It’s been a dream season for Washington and it continues for another week.

Loser: Nebraska

Nebraska football grabbed a 14-0 lead on Wisconsin and it seemed like the Huskers were finally on their way to a sixth win, which would clinch their first bowl berth since 2016.

However, Nebraska found a way to lose in overtime to Wisconsin, 24-17. The Huskers were down three in the final minute and had the ball inside the Badgers 30 with 1:30 to go.

Nebraska ran three more plays and settled for a field goal, only to lose in overtime. Now, after being inside the 10-yard line last week against Maryland, with under four minutes left and losing, the Huskers need to win against Iowa, or the first season under Rhule will be a massive failure.
