5. Shane Beamer, South Carolina
After taking over the program at South Carolina in 2021, Beamer compiled a couple of respectable seasons. But 2023 has been a completely different story.
In year three, where you would typically expect to see a team make the most growth, the Gamecocks are sitting with a 5-6 record, and a matchup with a red-hot Clemson team looming around the corner.
While a loss to Clemson this week might not seal Beamer’s fate as the Head Coach of the Gamecocks, you would have to believe that his chair will be very hot heading into the 2024 season.
