6. Kansas (7-4, 4-4 conference)

The Sunflower Showdown unfortunately didn’t swing the Jayhawks’ way. After going into halftime up 13-9, Kansas didn’t do much else to stop the Wildcats from winning the game. Kansas had three turnovers that hurt them greatly, the most crucial one coming at the end of the game. Freshman quarterback Cole Ballard kept the team in the game, throwing 162 yards, a touchdown, and 2 interceptions. The Jayhawks take on the Bearcats on Saturday for the final game.

5. Iowa State (6-5, 5-3 conference)

Iowa State has played well this season, and they are already bowl-eligible. The Cyclones faced Texas in week 12 and faced a tough team in the conference. Quarterback Rocco Becht threw for 323 yards, 2 touchdowns, and, one interception. The team couldn’t get the ground game going at all, so the play was relied on in the passing game. The Cyclones face Kansas State to end the season.

4. Oklahoma State (8-3, 6-2 conference)

The Cowboys looked dead in the water at the beginning of the game. It wasn’t until the 2nd quarter interception that Oklahoma State found its footing. Running back and Heisman hopefully Ollie Gordon had 164 rushing yards and three touchdowns. That was only bested by senior wide receiver Brennan Presley, who posted 189 yards on the day, a career-high for the player. If the Cowboys win their next matchup against BYU, they have their shot to be the second team in the Big 12 Championship.
