2. West Virginia has a promising young core of skill players
It is tough to assume anything in the modern era of college football. With the existence of the transfer portal, there is tremendous uncertainty as to what college football teams will look like from year to year. With that being said, West Virginia has the potential to return nearly all of their major skill-position contributors on the offensive end. WVU will plan on having Garrett Greene back to quarterback the offense for the second straight season.
If you want to know who may be around Garrett Greene next season, look at some of the featured players in the game against Baylor. Jahiem White is a true freshman, and coming off of two monster performances a the running back position. CJ Donaldson Jr. is just a sophomore. Wide receivers, Hudson Clement, Traylon Ray, and Rodney Gallagher are all freshmen. Preston Fox is a sophomore. Tight end Kole Taylor is a junior. The future may be looking bright for this offensive attack.
