4. Florida State

Despite their 12-0 record, the Seminoles have a tenuous hold it seems on the No. 4 spot in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Starting quarterback Jordan Travis was knocked out of the season and the Noles aren’t the same team without him. Yet, they haven’t lost either and this game against Louisville will give them a chance to beat a ranked opponent with their backup quarterback.

If the Seminoles fail though, I don’t see any scenario where a 12-1 Florida State team makes the playoff. They wil be out.

Florida State still has a good team though and as much as some college football fans want them out, even as a 13-0 team, it’s hard to see that happening. However, it’s also hard to argue that FSU is one of the four best teams without Jordan Travis.

Best-case scenario: Just win and pray.
