Top 5 landing spots for Kyle McCord in the transfer portal
Florida State
You have to feel horrible for Florida State football. The Noles went 13-0 and were still left out of the playoff despite winning a Power-5 conference.
Essentially, the committee said it thought Alabama was a better team, which robbed Florida State (13-0) of the chance to compete for a national title. Alabama lost a game by double-digits on its home field.
At any rate, McCord makes sense here, at least in my opinion. Florida State has been mentioned as a top team for Dante Moore, however, why not trade one playoff-caliber quarterback in Jordan Travis for another in McCord, who was 11-1 this past season after all?
Florida State is on the outside looking in, but Mike Norvell’s team could contend again next season if they can land a quarterback similar to Jordan Travis.
McCord could be that guy and with the 12-team playoff on tap, the Noles should have a good shot once again, especially if they can land a transfer portal quarterback as talented as Kyle McCord.
