3. Boca Raton Bowl: South Florida Bulls vs. Syracuse Orange

With December 21st being the shortest day of the year, make sure to find time to watch the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl on ESPN at 8:00. The participants in this game are the 6-6 Bulls and 6-6 Orange. The Orange is highly favored by ESPN analytics with 74.1%. With this matchup, they are opposites with their offensive mindsets.

The Bulls are a pass-dominant team with being led by Byrum Brown who is the 28th-best passer and the Orange led by the 32nd-best rusher in the nation, LeQuint Allen. This game will see the Bulls defense who gave up the most passing yards in the nation so, will we see the Orange change their game plan? With this note, the Orange is the middle of the pack in FBS in all major categories on the defensive side. The Orange’s defense is led by Marlow Wax, who leads the team in tackles, and Jason Simmons Jr., who leads the team in interceptions. So will the Bulls continue to throw the ball around led by Brown or change their game plan as well?

There is a lot to highlight for both teams, but the Orange has a lot to play for mainly, their new coach, Fran Brown. Under the bright lights at FAU Stadium, who will drive their names in the history books? Who will be the next Zach Wilson or Bailey Zappe after playing this game? Will the Bulls rush their way out of this fight or the Orange squeeze their way to triumph for their new coach?
