Cameron Ward
I’ve always thought that Cameron Ward would be a great fit for Ohio State. With the way the Buckeyes love to throw the ball downfield and with all of the wide receiver talent, it feels like a perfect match.
However, there hasn’t been any reported contact between Ward and Ohio State at this point. The former Washington State quarterback has thrown 48 touchdown passes over the past two seasons and has interest from Washington, Oregon, USC, Florida State, Nebraska, Auburn, and Wisconsin according to Chris Hummer of 247 Sports.
Hummer also reports that Ward will visit Miami. The Hurricanes have also been liked to Will Howard, but Ward makes a lot of sense and the Canes could offer a big-time NIL offer too.
Will Howard
Speaking of Will Howard, the former Kansas State quarterback took a visit to College Station and Texas A&M football last weekend. His former offensive coordinator at K-State is going to call for the plays for the Aggies next season and it makes sense for Howard to follow Collin Klein.
Yet, Miami has a lot to offer and Ohio State is another potential dark horse. Bill Kurelic of 247 Sports said the Buckeyes have an interest in Howard. Lincoln Riley also visited him, so there are lots of moving parts, but someone will be getting a quality starter with 24 touchdown passes last season, as well as two seasons of more than 350 yards rushing in his career.
