New commitments for transfer portal quarterbacks

There has been a flurry of activity with transfer portal quarterbacks this week. On Tuesday, Wisconsin got on the board by landing former Miami starter Tyler Van Dyke.

This is a good move for the Badgers who needed a replacement for Tanner Mordecai. They have to hope that Van Dyke will be an upgrade, but he should be a great fit for the Phil Longo offense and could use a change of scenary.

More transfer portal quarterbacks were committed on Wednesday as MJ Morris, a former North Carolina State starter, announced that he will transfer to Maryland. Morris doesn't have much experience but has 14 touchdowns in 199 pass attempts.

Morris was a former four-star recruit and he should be able to keep the Terps offense from having a massive drop off from Taulia Tagovailoa.

North Carolina State also has a new quarterback in the fold. Grayson McCall has been rumored to be joining the Wolfpack but finally made it official on Wednesday. He will replace Brennan Armstrong.
