This year in College Football, there have been a lot of players who showcased why they belong on an NCAA football field and some who showed that they will be included in conversations for the NFL. Names that are highlighted as the top prospects are Bo Nix from Oregon, Caleb Williams from USC, and possibly the number one pick in the Draft, Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State.

In the EasyPost Hawaii Bowl on December 23rd on ESPN at 10:30, there is plenty of talent on the field for both the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and San Jose State Spartans. From these two teams, three players made statements that stood out the most this year to be able to hear their names called in the NFL Draft.

3, Bryun Parham, Linebacker for San Jose State

In football, which position do you think has the biggest impact on a defense? A cornerback? A defensive tackle? For the Spartans, there was a position that took the title of the impactful position and it was a linebacker. The linebacker room was spearheaded by Bryun Parham who is in the top 60 ranked in total tackles ahead of one of the best linebackers in the nation, Junior Colson from Michigan. I know that Michigan is surrounded by defensive machines but Parham has been one of the most consistent players in College Football in the past two years. Parham has had 168 total tackles in two years, causing opposing teams to worry about where he is at all times.

Fans should be ready for commentators to say his name for a tackle a lot in the Hawaii Bowl. Don’t be surprised if they hear Parham’s name on Draft night but, they need to be aware that Parham has a couple more years at San Jose State as well so he can become one of the best linebackers in all college football for years to come. Which NFL team has the biggest hole-in linebacker; will they take a chance on Parham in this year’s Draft?
