National Signing Day Wrap-Up: Pac-12

facebooktwitterreddit

The Pac-12 landed two teams in Bowl Championship Series games for a second straight season, after having done so just once in the decade prior. Commissioner Larry Scott led a movement that resulted in the wealthiest multimedia contract in college sports. Success is rolling into the conference, and that was reflected on the recruiting trail.

Eleven of the conference’s 12 teams finished in Rivals.com’s Top 50. Only Washington State failed to make the cut. Stanford, USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington all finished in the nation’s top 20. This is an exciting time for West Coast football. Read on for the breakdown, and give a listen to The Three-Point Stance Podcast, where I discussed the entire signing class with Friend Of The Blog, Pete Sonski.
