Under Armour Unveils New Northwestern Uniforms

Under Armour debuted Northwestern’s new football uniforms today, taking a unique approach for the Wildcats. The mid-torso stripes have a rugby kit feel to them.

UA curtailed some of its experimentation it would seem, bearing in mind that this is the company that designed Maryland’s state flag uniforms.

NUAthletics.com, Northwestern’s official athletic site, released a video detailing the process:

Readers, what are your thoughts on the Wildcats’ updated uniforms? Is the torso stripe setting a trend, or can we expect this to go the way of Virginia Tech and Florida’s short-lived one-sleeve jersey?
