Clemson, which made huge strides in the Week 2 FanSided Top 25 poll, earned its first No. 1 vote this week. With Alabama remaining atop the poll but idle, the Tigers scored yet another small victory against the SEC.
Clemson is No. 4 this week, trailing aforementioned Alabama as well as Pac-12 members Oregon and Stanford. Oregon received the second most first place votes, and checks in at No. 2 overall.
While the Pac-12 is the only conference with multiple teams in the top 5, the SEC dominates the rest of the top 10 and has the most teams ranked overall with seven.
