Star wide receiver DeVante Parker should be back in the lineup Saturday when the Louisville Cardinals travel to Clemson to battle the Tigers.

The Louisville Cardinals have gotten off to a 4-1 start despite moving to the SEC and playing without star wide receiver DeVante Parker.

DeVante Parker suffered a broken bone in his fifth metatarsal in his left foot in August and has not played yet this season.

Louisville head coach Petrino told reporters there was a “good chance” DaVante Parker would Saturday when the Cardinals travel to Clemson to take on the Tigers.

“He’s a special talent,” Petrino said. “I think there’s going to be some issues with conditioning. We have to be smart with how we practice him and see where he is.

“All indications are he’ll be ready to go. It just depends on how it goes in practice.”

DeVante Parker had 55 receptions for 885 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.
