Well, here comes the latest viral sensation from Oakman to tease of us with his seemingly limitless potential while simultaneously strike fear into the hearts of the Big 12 quarterbacks who will be his victims this fall.

You’ve seen videos of players doing box jumps, right? Two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award winner J.J. Watt may have the most impressive box jump that we’ve seen but Oakman may have topped him with this 40″ box jump … with 70-pound dumbbells in each hand.

Oakman’s listed weight of 280 pounds plus 140 pounds in dumbbells gives you 420 pounds exploding off the ground from the strongman’s sheer power and explosion.

That shouldn’t be possible from a human 6-9, 280-pound individual.

If you’re wondering if this freakish display of strength and athleticism translates to the field, Oakman finished second in the Big 12 in tackles for loss with 19.5 and sacks with 11. Entering his third season as a starter since transferring from Penn State, Oakman is an All-American candidate and a potential first round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
