These 15 college quarterbacks have the most to prove to their teammates, coaches, fanbases and themselves as they prepare for the 2015 season.

Playing quarterback comes with an inherent pressure and scrutiny that no other position in football can relate and perhaps no other position in sports other than a starting pitcher in baseball or a goalie in hockey or soccer.

It takes a special breed of athlete and personality to excel in the position and we have seen many examples of players who had the talent but couldn’t handle the extra stuff that comes with playing the position, particularly the pressure that comes with being a leader and being the face of a program.
