College Football 2015 Week 3: Biggest winners and losers

We’ve finished Week 3 of the 2015 College football season, and here’s a look at some of the biggest winners and losers during a week of huge games.

In college football, every game (usually) has a winner and a loser, but sometimes the backstories, quotes, and unintentional humor become points of victory or shame as well. When you engage in smack-talk, even weeks before a game, it can come back to haunt you. When a player does things never done before, it can lift a team beyond belief.

There were a number of key matchups this week, as well as some games with huge national implications. There were conference rivalries, rarely-seen non-conference games, and of course, some upsets.

So yes – Ole Miss, Michigan State, Oregon, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State and countless others all came out on the winning end of the scoreboard this week. But there are stories within those games, and individuals coming out of them, who make for some of the best material for winners and losers.
