Week 12 may be Cupcake Saturday in the SEC, but there is plenty of opportunity for action. We pick all eight games featuring SEC teams against the spread.

Only two full weeks remain in the 2015 college football season, and that means one thing in the SEC: Week 12 is Cupcake Saturday.

With season-ending rivalry clashes on the horizon, most of the SEC will be venturing out of conference for a warm-up game against a lesser opponent. There are just three league games this week, only one of which features a ranked opponent.

Since we built a large cushion early in the season on non-conference games, there’s great reason to believe that Cupcake Saturday can help us reverse our fortunes from last week’s 2-4 slate, which dropped our season record to 44-37.

  • 2015 Straight Up: 58-23 (.716)
  • 2015 Against the Spread: 44-37 (.543)
  • 2015 Over/Under: 44-37 (.543)
  • Last Week Straight Up: 3-3 (.500)
  • Last Week Against the Spread: 2-4 (.333)
  • Last Week Over/Under: 2-4 (.333)

No. 22 Ole Miss hosts No. 15 LSU with the Rebels desperately holding on to hope for a spot in the SEC Championship Game and LSU head coach Les Miles reportedly coaching for his job. Mississippi State and Arkansas meet in Fayetteville, and Texas A&M travels to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt, while the rest of the league welcomes opponents from the Sun Belt, Conference USA and the FCS.

Alabama and South Carolina are playing non-FBS opponents, and we don’t predict the outcomes of FCS games, so that leaves us eight games to pick against the spread this week.
