The Heisman picture is clearing up with one more week left and Derrick Henry and Deshaun Watson the two left standing, but who else could earn an invite?

Derrick Henry carried his team to victory, Deshaun Watson led his team to 12-0 start, and Christian McCaffrey led the upset over Notre Dame, all who have one more game to play

In the final week of the regular season, the Heisman candidate list had been solidified, and the rankings seem to be in a set order, but there’s still plenty of room for movement heading into conference championship weekend.

Christian McCaffrey and the Stanford Cardinal took down Notre Dame in the final seconds, and have one more game vs. USC. The Trojan run defense hasn’t been great this season, and McCaffrey can take advantage. He leads the nation in all-purpose yards per game, and it’s not even close.

The LSU Tigers got Les Miles the win, and all seems to be fine and dandy in Baton Rouge. But the Tigers stumbled down the home stretch of the season, and without a conference championship game, it’s going to be hard for Leonard Fournette to get back into the race.

Here come the Sooners, as the Big 12 Champions, making it through the final weeks of the back loaded Big 12 schedule. No conference championship game for Mayfield as well, which means he put in all that he could for the season. And the same goes for Ezekiel Elliott, who helped torch the Michigan Wolverines. Both candidate truly would have benefited from one last game.

Then there’s Deshaun Watson, who led his Clemson Tigers to a 12-0 record, and will head to the ACC title game. And then Derrick Henry, who nearly carried the rock 50 times, and led the way for Alabama. He’s been the nucleus of that offense.
