Things got ugly fast for the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the Egg Bowl. A quick 14-0 lead went up to 21-0 nothing, after a Dak Prescott pick six made things look like it was going to be a long night. A 28-3 halftime deficit seemed near impossible to come back from the way things were going, but Dak Prescott was able to make some magic happen to make this a respectable game.

After this first interception, Dak’s numbers were incredible, and he started using his feet a bit more, as he picked up 62 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Four losses on the season and unranked team will more than certainly take him out of the Heisman conversation, but he put up Heisman caliber numbers, and had a great senior season for the Bulldogs. But it was the SEC West schedule that kept the Bulldogs down to earth.
