It took some extra time, but Week 7 ended as expected. With another week in the books, here’s the updated list of first-round projections.

Not much changed in the rankings but the future odds have changed, which in turn, will show some change in the draft order.

As the draft order changes, the order of players that are discussed will too, so don’t panic. As we get closer to the end of the NFL season, the mock draft will become a lot more cleaner.

This week’s mock draft went based off of need for each team. Without further adieu, here’s this week’s first round.

53. . EDGE. Texas A&M. Myles Garrett. 1. player

The Cleveland Browns are 0-6 for the third time in franchise history and for the first time since 1999. It’s not that the team is terrible, they just lack a defensive playmaker.

The Browns rank 25th in sacks in the NFL with nine sacks on the season. Selecting defensive end Myles Garrett out of Texas A&M should solve this dilemma.

Garrett has scary strength, speed, and size at the collegiate level. He has totaled122 total tackles, 26.5 sacks, and 38 tackles for loss in three seasons with the Aggies.

Garrett has a big game coming up this weekend against Alabama too. He is nursing an ankle injury but is expected to play.
