The Week 10 College Football Injury Report is in. Check out who will miss this week’s games and who is returning.

This week’s injury report dealt another huge blow to the Duke Blue Devils offense. They’ll be without their leading rusher for the rest of the season. The sophomore slump has struck again at UCLA as well, as their starting quarterback will be out for the rest of the season.

The Cornhuskers hobble into this week’s matchup with sixth ranked Ohio State with a few injuries on both sides of the ball. If they want to keep their Big Ten title hopes intact, they’ll need all their players healthy.

RB Jela Duncan, Duke

Duke running back Jela Duncan is out for the season due to an Achilles’ injury. Duncan hurt himself while celebrating a teammates’ touchdown last week against Georgia Tech.

Duncan has 88 carries for 450 rushing yards and six touchdowns this season for Duke. He leads the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.

The Blue Devils also lost quarterback Thomas Sirk to an Achilles’ injury in the first week of practice. It hasn’t been the greatest of seasons for Duke either, as they are 0-4 in ACC play. They play Virginia Tech this week.

RB Kyle Hicks, TCU

TCU running back Kyle Hicks is questionable this week due to an ankle injury. Hicks injured his ankle on the team’s first drive last week against Texas Tech.

Hicks has ran for 597 rushing yards and seven touchdowns this season to lead the Horned Frogs rushing attack. He has also caught 31 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns.

He’ll be needed as the team faces 17th ranked Baylor this week looking to hand them another loss.

QB Josh Rosen, UCLA

The sophomore slump has hit UCLA Bruins’ quarterback Josh Rosen hard this season. Rosen is out for the rest of the year due to a nerve issue in his throwing shoulder. He missed the past two games hoping to return.

As a freshman last season, he threw for 3,669 yards and 23 touchdowns. This year, his numbers are down through six games. He’s thrown for 1,915 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Bruins are 3-5 on the season and 1-4 in Pac-12 play so far this season. They face 15th Colorado this week. Backup quarterback Mike Fafaul will finish out the year as the team’s starter.

OL Tanner Farmer, Nebraska

Nebraska offensive lineman Tanner Farmer will miss this week’s game against sixth ranked Ohio State due to an ankle injury. Farmer suffered a severe ankle sprain in the team’s 23-17 overtime loss last week to Wisconsin.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound sophomore was having a good season at the right guard position for the Cornhuskers. Farmer will be replaced this week by senior offensive lineman Corey Whitaker.

LB Dedrick Young, Nebraska

Cornhuskers linebackers Dedrick Young is questionable this week against Ohio State with an elbow injury. Young was injured late in the game against Wisconsin last week.

He is third on the teams in total tackles and tackles for loss. He is a big contributor to the Cornhuskers pass defense as well this season with six pass breakups.

There is general optimism Young will be able to go this week, although he missed a few days of practice this week.

OT Toby Weathersby, LSU

LSU offensive tackle Toby Weathersby is ready to return to action this week against Alabama. He is listed as probable.

The 6-foot-5, 292-pound right tackle hasn’t played a game since September 17th and possibly returns at a key moment for the LSU Tigers. Interim head coach still plans on starting sophomore Maea Teuhema at right tackle but will rotate Weathersby in at some point.
