SEC Football: Takeaways for Each Team from Week 10
SEC football teams continued to make their charges toward bowl season in Week 10, and left us with plenty of takeaways for each team.
Although Week 10 of SEC football was not the grandest of scheduled weekends, upsets were the order of the day. Some teams were able to stave up their challenges, but other SEC football teams fell short in their attempts to improve their record.
The action was hit or miss, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t some great games. The slugfest in Baton Rouge was reminiscent of 2011, while a new power tried to rise in Lexington. Other teams around SEC football, though, engaged in games that were harder to watch.

above .500 again. The biggest story of the weekend will be one of national relevance, however.
Days after the initial 2016 College Football Playoff rankings debuted and gave SEC football a ton of credit, the conference largely failed to impress. We’ll no doubt hear about how the conference was a tad overrated, but that will be debated all the way to bowl season.
