Here’s how you can watch Saturday evening’s Heisman Trophy ceremony from New York online.

Looking to watch the Heisman Trophy ceremony on Saturday but won’t be anywhere near a TV? We’re here to help you out. The annual event is expected to be a little bit more on the surprising end of things this year.

Why do we say that? Well, there are two underdog Heisman candidates on the ballot in Oklahoma wide receiver Dede Westbrook and Michigan linebacker/safety Jabrill Peppers. While there’s a very slim chance either one of those two win the trophy, it’s still impressive that they were invited.

Westbrook took advantage of fellow Heisman finalist Baker Mayfield’s big season and filled in nicely for Sterling Shepard. Mayfield had a rough start to the year, but came on strong and was arguably the most consistent quarterback in the final nine games of the season.

Peppers might be more media hype than anything else as I don’t even think he’s the best player on his own defense — that would be Jourdan Lewis. Still, he’s the best athlete in college football and can play multiple positions.

Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson of Louisville and Clemson, respectively, round out the five invitees. These two have the best shot, along with Mayfield, to take home the trophy this year. Jackson is arguably the overwhelming favorite.
