Here’s how to watch the Appalachian State vs Toledo matchup in the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl Saturday.

Appalachian State has been one of those consistently strong Group of Five programs over the past few years. Ever since joining the FBS, the Mountaineers have played well and they’re in line to finish 2016 with 10 wins.

The Mountaineers won the Sun Belt this season with a 7-1 record in conference play and 9-3 mark overall. Taylor Lamb has had a decent season under center, passing for 2,162 yards and 14 touchdowns with eight picks.

The ground game has been solid, though. Jalin Moore leads the way with 1,367 yards and 10 touchdowns on 6.2 yards per touch. Marcus Cox has rushed for 872 yards and eight touchdowns. They could be a major problem for Toledo.

On the same note, the Toledo Rockets have been consistently successful in the MAC for the past few years. The Rockets are also a win away from reaching double-digits on the year and were one win over Western Michigan away from an upset MAC title appearance.

I bet you didn’t know that the Rockets have one of the top passing quarterbacks in the entire country. Junior gunslinger Logan Woodside has passed for 3,882 yards and 43 touchdowns on the season and he’s nearly guaranteed to surpass the 4,000-yard mark.

Woodside’s favorite target has been Cody Thompson who has 59 catches for 1,170 yards and 10 touchdowns. The top red-zone target has been Michael Roberts who has 15 touchdowns to go along with 514 yards on 43 receptions.
