ACC sends Kuechly to NFL 9th Overall

Linebacker Luke Kuechly of the Boston College Eagles was the only ACC player chosen in the top ten picks of the Thursday night’s 2012 NFL Draft. Kuechly was selected by the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo needed help defensively and he should fit in nicely there. The Bills started 2011 5-2 but they stumbled from then on and did not make the playoffs. Kuechly had 191 tackles in 2011, 102 of those solo. He also picked off three passes and scored a touchdown. Over his 3 years with the Eagles he made 516 tackles, 293 of those solo. He picked of 7 passes in his 3 year in the Boston College secondary.
