Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini Leaves Stadium In Ambulance
By Kyle Kensing
Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini left his team’s game against Arkansas State in an ambulance on Saturday, ESPN.com reports.
The Cornhuskers led Gus Malzahn’s RedWolves 28-3 going into the locker room. Pelini did not rejoin the team on the field for the third quarter. Specifics of Pelini’s condition are not known at this time, but we will keep tabs on developments. This is not the first time a Big Ten coach has had to leave the sideline mid-game recently. Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill suffered a seizure during a game last season.
Pelini is known for his fiery presence during games. ESPN.com’s report says he had his pulse taken in the first half.
