2014 Prospect Brandon Harris Declines Texas A&M With Class

Rare is it during the college football recruiting process that fans are exposed to the perspective of the recruit. Too often, the prospect’s hopes and dreams are forced to the background. Following in a growing trend of recruits using social media to both publicize and enjoy the process, four-star 2014 quarterback Brandon Harris opened up about his recruitment on Monday, after his suitor Texas A&M Aggies received a commitment from fellow four-star prospect Kyle Allen.
Harris tweeted a respectful message he passed along to Texas A&M coaches on Monday, explaining his situation with the Aggies moving forward:

Plenty of SEC programs will be happy to have the talented Harris on the market. Harris, a 6-foot-3 play-maker from Bossier City (La.) Parkway, is Rivals.com’s fifth ranked dual-threat quarterback for 2014. Ohio State, Alabama and Ole Miss are some of the teams in the mix.
Allen is Rivals’ top ranked Pro Set quarterback. The Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain recruit checks in at No. 76 on the FanSided 150, and chose A&M over a host of potential destinations including UCLA, Arizona State and Notre Dame.
