EA Sports NCAA Football 14 Demo Released
By Kyle Kensing
EA Sports NCAA Football 14 doesn’t hit stores until July 9, but gamers jonesing for a college football fix can play the demo, released to XBox Live Gold subscribers and the Playstation Network today.
Included in the EA Sports NCAA Football 14 demo are noteworthy match-ups:
• Oregon vs. Texas A&M at Kyle Field
Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel was once an Oregon Ducks recruit, and certainly could have flourished in the uptempo offense UO plays. Things worked out fine for the Ducks though, as sophomore quarterback Marcus Mariota is a likely contender to Manziel’s Heisman in 2013.
So Mariota, or Manziel: who’ve you got?
• Virginia Tech vs. Alabama in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game
The defending national champion Crimson Tide begins its title defense against Frank Beamer’s perennial ACC championship contenders. Alabama is an overwhelming favorite in this showdown, but perhaps Logan Thomas can jump-start a Heisman campaign by dethroning the Tide.
• Ohio State vs Michigan in the Big House
Gamers can get a preview of late November and the top rated clash of the 2013 slate per the SaturdayBlitz.com Big Ten conference schedule. Can Brady Hoke make it 2-0 vs. Ohio State at home, or will Urban Meyer stay perfect against his new program’s most bitter rival?
