UPDATE: Kenny Bell announced via Twitter that he is back on the team, taking advantage of coach Nick Saban’s offer to come back after a personal day.
Alabama wide receiver Kenny Bell tweeted on Tuesday that he is leaving the team to focus on his family.

In an interesting twist, Cecil Hurt reports that head coach Nick Saban expects Bell back at practice on Wednesday.
Saban said he gave a "personal day" to Kenny Bell and should be back to practice tomorrow.

Bell, a fifth-year senior, received his degree in December. He appeared in the Crimson Tide’s season opening defeat of Virginia Tech, though went without a reception. He caught 17 passes for 431 yards and three touchdowns in 2012.
Bell’s NFL draft prospects appear limited, as CBS Sports’ projections have him scored as the No. 50 overall wide receiver prospect, and 441st among all draft-eligible players in the 2014 class.
Though Bell is leaving football, his indication on Twitter suggests nothing but support for the Alabama football program.
Salute to the team y'all keep grinding and win that championship ✊💯
