The UCLA Bruins dedicated their Week 3 defeat of Nebraska to wide receiver Nick Pasquale, the 20-year-old Bruin killed a week prior. UCLA returned home to the Rose Bowl for the first time since his passing Saturday against New Mexico State, and head coach Jim Mora paid homage to Pasquale by lining up with 10 players for the first offensive possession.
The 10-man lineup followed a pregame moment of silence.
Pasquale left a huge imprint on the Southern California communities in which he lived, and his presence on the UCLA roster has been evident in his teammates’ touching tributes.
