Tulsa WR Thomas Roberson Makes A Ridiculous Catch

For those glued to Georgia Tech-Virginia Tech or San Francisco 49ers-St. Louis Rams, you missed arguably the play of Thursday night.
Deadlocked at seven with Iowa State, Tulsa quarterback Cody Green a ball to the back of the end zone that really should have been a Cyclone interception. And it would have, had wide receiver Thomas Roberson not made the below, ridiculous catch.

Beyond the timing and sheer strength Roberson exhibited snatching that ball away, look at how high off the turf he leaped. Those tuned in reacted accordingly via Twitter:

Iowa State answered just before halftime to force a 14-14 tie. Thursday’s meeting is the third between the Cyclones and Golden Hurricane since last September. They played in December’s Liberty Bowl, which Tulsa won, 31-17. The current, three-game series is deadlocked at a win apiece.
