Miami running back Duke Johnson was removed from the Hurricanes’ non-conference tilt with USF Saturday, suffering from what is initially being reported as a concussion. However, the standout sophomore could return per various reports.

Johnson had six rushes for 36 yards at the time of his removal from the lineup. His services may not be needed for the Hurricanes, which built an early 21-7 lead over the hapless Bulls. Quarterback Stephen Morris was 8-of-11 for 188 yards with two touchdowns at the time of publish.
