VIDEO: Jameis Winston Ends The Half With A Wild Touchdown Pass

The legend of Florida State Seminoles freshman quarterback Jameis Winston is already growing to epic proportions, and Saturday he did nothing to change that. Despite trailing Boston College 17-3 early, Winston led the Seminoles in reclaiming the lead by halftime.

His touchdown pass to send the Seminoles into the locker room ahead was perhaps the most impressive single play of this college football season. Via ESPN.com:

Winston demonstrates every facet of his celebrated skill set in this one play: his athleticism, escapability, composure and arm strength. Oh, the arm strength.

Fitting this pass was made against the team famous for Hail Flutie. Though the stakes are much different, Winston’s touchdown pass bears a striking similarity.

And hey; in Flutie’s case, it resulted in a Heisman Trophy. Maybe history will prove the two to not be so different, after all.
