FanSided Top 25 Week 7

The Week 7 FanSided Top 25 poll offered no major surprises. The absence of upsets kept the top portion of the rankings steady, with the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide again edging out the Oregon Ducks.
Oregon briefly held the top spot after Alabama’s decisive, if somewhat unimpressive win over Colorado State. In the most recent vote, the Tide received twice as many first place votes as the Ducks.
Alabama leads a quartet of SEC representatives in the Top 10, also including Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M. The SEC has seven teams in the Top 25 this week, with the Missouri Tigers breaking into the poll for the first time this season.
Missouri routed Vanderbilt to improve to 5-0 and 1-0 in the SEC. The Tigers draw fellow Top 25 SEC East team Georgia in a Week 7 showdown.
The Pac-12, Big Ten, Big 12 and ACC all have four teams ranked this week.
