Oklahoma Sooners linebacker Eric Striker set the bar for play of the day early Saturday in the Red River Rivalry. In fact, his hit on Texas Longhorns quarterback Case McCoy is this season’s early answer to the Jadeveon Clowney tackle on Vincent Smith in January’s Outback Bowl.

Unfortunately for Striker and Oklahoma, coming in with his hands high brought them into McCoy’s facemask, which qualified for a 15-yard penalty.
