Are you ready for a Florida State, Alabama, Oregon, and Auburn playoff? That’s the road we are traveling down if we are to believe the updated Vegas betting odds from Bovada.
A key thing to note from the updated odds is Auburn has pushed slightly ahead of Ohio State for the crucial fourth slot. Of course we are talking about how money is being played here, but it is interesting that since May the view of “The” Ohio State has diminished a little in favor of the team who lost to Florida State in last year’s title game. Given everything Auburn has lost to graduation and the NFL one has to be a little surprised they would jump Ohio State at this juncture of the summer.
It is also interesting to note the high faith bettors seem to still have in Oklahoma. The Sooners are in a lot of trouble at quarterback and should receive a tough test in the Big XII from Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State. Whether or not they are deserving of the sixth best odds is questionable.
