3. Bill Snyder
In terms of overall legacy, coach Snyder should be at the top with Bob Stoops. No coach has ever been able to do so much with so little. Bill Snyder is the reason K-State is relevant. There was no winning track record before Snyder. 20+ years and 178 wins later, the Wildcats are still in contention for a Big 12 Championship each year, actually winning the conference title in 2012. Over the last five seasons KSU is 42-27, and will continue to be in the mix nationally until coach Snyder decides to step aside again.
