Big Ten East

2. Ohio State Buckeyes

I know, I know, everybody is dropping them to No. 2 now because of Braxton Miller’s injury. Not here.

  • Ohio State had no shot against the Spartans with Miller. I repeat, they had no shot. Unless Cook got hurt. Did we forget how bad the Buckeyes’ past defense was last year in those last three games? With three starters gone in the secondary, there is no way this team will be able to stop the aerial assault that Michigan State gives them this year, with or without Miller. It won’t even be that close, being played in East Lansing this year.

The Buckeyes have a couple of losses on their way. The Spartans are one, and they’ll slip up somewhere else. I honestly would have had them at No. 3 behind Michigan were it not for the fact that the Wolverines have to travel to Columbus this year.

    This is a 10-2 team.
