The Pittsburgh Panthers are so young that I have already listed them as a team that will have to struggle to get back to 6 wins this year, but the future is very bright . Paul Chryst has the program going in the right direction, and as he deals with the loss of quarterback Tom Savage, a game against Delaware for incoming quarterback Chad Voytik is good for his confidence as he develops chemistry with the rest of the offense.

Delaware is not going to be a great measuring stick for the Panthers anymore than Villanova will be for Syracuse, though. This is a team that wen 7-5 in FCS play last year and shows nothing to suggest that they can provide Pittsburgh with any sort of resistance, even if Pittsburgh is young.

Prediction

The young Panthers will start off slow for the first half of the first quarter and get it going midway through the second quarter. They’ll never let up, and this is going to be a blowout win.
