  • The Mark-Stoops era at Kentucky has been surrounded by a lot of excitement on its own thanks to a very good recruiting class this year. It’s almost enough to think that the Wildcats will be competitive after a 2-10 record last year, with so much young talent and many returning starters. This game will be a good test simply to see how much the Wildcats have improved over last year and if they can make any noise in the SEC this year.

    Prediction

UT-Martin is not a bad team, going 7-5 in their FCS schedule last year. But they won’t be able to even make this a game. The Wildcats will jump out early and run up the score as they continue to develop their young talent, walking away with a very excited fan base about the season. Of course, they’ll wake up soon enough.
