CLEMSON KEY: The Tigers took last year’s matchup against Georgia with a thrilling 38-35 victory at home. This season they’ll have to travel to Georgia in order to start their season with a victory over the Bulldogs. Gone are Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins, which will make winning two in a row against Georgia that much more difficult. Finding the big plays from new targets is going to be Clemson’s question to answer in order to pull off the upset tonight.
GEORGIA KEY: Georgia lost Aaron Murray to the NFL and now has to replace the SEC’s all-time leading passer. But what may be most important for Georgia is the return of so many players they lost to injury a season ago. The addition of that talent plus (hopefully) a revamped secondary should allow the Bulldogs to avenge their loss to Clemson a year ago.
