With the Ohio State Buckeyes down 7-6 to Navy and the Midshipmen driving in Buckeyes territory at the start of the third quarter, it seemed like the men from Columbus would be in trouble and in for a long season without Braxton Miller. But a freshman linebacker changed the game. Darron Lee returned a fumbled option pitch 69 yards for a touchdown in a play that got the Buckeyes going. They gave up another touchdown, but the play was enough of a game-changer to give J.T. Barrett more confidence and throw for a couple of touchdowns in the second half, finally putting away Navy 34-17. The credit for that goes to Lee, who made a crucial play at a crucial time.
